Default Turbo Iron shortblock Q's

Looking about 9mo into the future but I am going to build a 370 iron block for 18-20psi of boost and 800whp with twin turbos or 3.3L lysolm twin screw (if available then).

So, with that (and since the search is down) a few questions....

Stock crank, will is support 800whp without flinching?

Rings what kind for longevity at this level? What gaps?

I'd like to keep compression below 9:1 somewhere around 8.7:1
with 72cc AFR heads I am looking at a -19cc piston.... what pistons are proven for boost?

I'd like to keep the cam fairly mild if possible ~mid 230s .600 lifts?

Best boost short block builder that is reasonable on price? I am leaning toward HPE, TSP, or LME?

I know what gaskets I would use, mainstuds, headstuds (L19 need for iron blocks?) If I do turbos I'd probably run a carb manifold with elbow.....

Thanks for looking at my stupid questions that have been asked a thousand times, I am sure.... :p

Default futral

why don't you pm futral about your setup. alan builds some very nice stuff. hes not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. stock crank is fine. diamond pistons forsure. pro-billet rods. hes building me a block almost just like what your are looking for. oh and i would recomend getting your pistons coated.
