IS IT WORTH THE REBUILD?? plz respond
Is a powerdyne kit worth rebuilding??
i am going to be getting one back that i sold that apparently needs the bearings replaced in it but im not for sure. and the impeller has a few knicks in it but not bad. It still boosted for me no problem and hit almost 6lbs with a 4.5 pulley.
Its the complete kit including new boost gauge....is it worth fixing? how much is it worth just like it is........??? i would rather just get rid of it without having to rebuild it because i already bought heads and a MS3 cam.
??????also anyone interested

well the impeller has some knicks in it, as you can see from the pic link i posted above.None of the impeller fins are bent, a radiotor hose that had a clamp on it fell into the path while the car was being started and the clamp made some pecks on the impeller It still boosted and woorked fine for me when i was using it. The only thing that might need to be done is new bearings, which im not even sure this is true. I gotta have someone check it out. There is no play in the pully shaft or the impeller. Just has a slight roar sound when you spin the pulley by hand but someone told me that was just because it was internal beltdriven and it was just the belt making noise. So worst case, just bearings and a dremel to smooth out some of the knicks
