Single big or twins?
I will be changing my setup from my sig with a turbo kit, I will be going with GMR's turbos kit, but I dont know which kit to go with yet? Is it worth saving up the extra $3,000 from the single kit to buy a twin kit? I mean you could take the extra money you saved and buy a cam, different heads, and stuff like that. So what should I do buy the single kit with an upgraded turbo? Or wait and buy the twin kit?

well i thin kthe style of there single kit limits the kit to about 600 rwhp, the twin kit you could go much higher. Someone correct me if im wrong. Thanks!

right now im looking for 550-650h.p. on the stock block. but in a little while when i go with a forged block I will look for 800-900rwhp. But if I went with the upgrade on the sinlge kit(76mm) I would think that could push out over 800. (correct me if im wrong) But is there any difference in the two? LIke if you just did a twin on a stock car versus a single (same boost level) would one run faster or slower?

a 76 turbo will get you into the 800's for HP i know of a person running 900+ on one (they have a nice set of heads and all the rest of the power adders) I have a 76 sitting right next to me waiting to go on and i plan on running 800 somthing at the wheels with it.

It all depends on what hp you want to go for. I see that you are wanting 5 to 600 on the stock block. You can achieve this on both of our kits. The single is limited to a t-76 turbo, but that can produce some good numbers. The single kit is a "street turbo setup". We never really expected it to be a power house system when we released it. Its for the people that want a differnet option then a bolt on blower or a rear mount setup. People that just want there daily driver to go
faster, reliable and love the sound of a turbo. You can take the system and make lots of power over 700rwhp, but you need the right setup. That is why its a "street kit".
If your looking to make alot of power. Then the GMR TWINS are the way to go. You can make over 1000rwhp with this setup. The kit does loose the a/c, but we are in the process of relocating the compresser so you can keep it. The kit is not being changed to do this at all. So if you buy the twin kit now you will have the option to buy the a/c relocation stuff anytime. Some poeple want a/c others dont.
On decideing what one is better. Its up to what you want the most. What I can tell you is...yes you can make over 1300hp with a single setup and that would be great. You just better have one hell of a engine to handle the boost. Most likley it wont be a daily driver and it wont be fun stop light to stop light. Usually a single putting out that much power is a large frame turbo. With a twin kit you will have boost much earlier and never stops pulling. Sounds like a frieght train flying by. Making it more fun to drive on the street. Our base kit with the t-61's will handle over 800rwhp. We made 724rwhp and 740rwt with 16.5psi and a A/F of 10.0 all the way across . With some tuning its easy 750rwhp. That was with a 6.0L iron block, forged rods and pistons, stock 317 heads,zo6 cam and everything else stock ls1 parts. The customer picked it up and drove it all the way home to dallas,TX. Getting 25 miles per gallon. We are doing another customers car, but he is having built 317 heads, aftermarket cam. Should see over 800rwhp for a daily driver. I hope this helps you out. Just trying to be honest with my future customers. We just love to make people happy and not bullshit them around.

Thanks so much for the help!!!! my goals for the car are like i said b4 in the 600 range on stock block, but in a little bit run MORE BOOST!!! When I do that it will prob become my fun car and not d.d. but my main concern is the money, with a $400 a month payment on the car i wpuld rather go with the single.

So your single kit can see and handle over 700+ rwhp safely and reliably with the 76? What kit would you suggest me for almost the same goals as this guy.... right around 500 rwhp on stock block, and 650-700 on forged block? Thanks! Oh 100% street car BTW

That is fanastic news on the air relocation. I was all set to get one of your singles but now think will get one your twins. I just need to save up a bit more money.I realize they are on special right now and will see what can do with my finances..So if the air relocation is for sure possible than that is the way I would go..so you said you can install it without the air and then just add the air back on! That would work just great.
Also is the twin compatible with my asp balancer? Will it interfere with my kenny brown double diamonds subframe connectors? Will I be ok with my mild 3/4 inch slp eibach drop.
And any idea how much the air relocation kit will cost..
