Default Any Quick Fixes?

Does anyone ealse have a problem with blow-by at the track? The only time it gets blowed out is at the track. I have a problem with the dipstick being blowed out and making a big dam mess. How do i fix this annoying problem? I have the procharger unit on the car and it only has 8lbs of boost.

Check your PCV system, do a search...

Sorry for the short response, I had to run somewhere, yea your pressurizing the crank (sounds like it), do a search for my name and you should find everything you need.

One simple quick fix that we've done in the past is to install a carb throttle return spring on the dipstick, which when done correctly keeps tension on the dipstick.
This is a bandaid as to why you are building up crankcase pressure. Typically in a 1/4 mile run you are in the throttle longer than you are on the street, which is why you are seeing it only happen at the track.
Do a search on here, and I'm sure you will find pic's of the PCV layout. Bob

if you are blowing oil out your dipstick hole you either have a hole in one of your pistons or boost is getting the crankcase via the PCV valve (should have a check valve in line) or the vent line on the TB is still hooked up to the valve cover.

Been covered a lot of times here so the info should be easy to find.

The chaeck valve, what does it look like and where is it? I know there is a plug on the valve cover and a plug on the TB.

It would go between the intake manifold (RH side behind the TB) and the PCV valve.

The common one most folks are getting is the McMaster Carr one. That's what I have.
