Default Help identify turbo

I posted this in another thread but didn't get much response. Hopefully someone will know what this turbo is so I can see if it will work with my setup or not. The only thing I have to measure with is a tape measure in milimeters so all sizes are approximate.

The compressor has a 5" inlet and a 3.5" outlet. Compressor wheel seems to be about 75mm inducer and 100mm exducer. Don't know A/R was told around 1.08

The turbine is on a T6 flange with a 5" outlet for downpipe. I couldn't get the housing off and didn't want to force it so I could only measure the exducer and it seems to be about 87mm. Again don't know the A/R but was told around 1.00

Hopefully someone can help. Here's some pics.

It has an AirResearch turbine housing on it, I would give them a call. From the sounds of it, without exact measurements of both wheels, I would guess a t-76 compressor.

Measure the inducer with a dial caliper and get an exact measurement. To convert inches to mm, multiply by 25.4. Once you know the size, such as 76mm, then look up the compressor map for a T-76 turbo, which will support over 920 hp.

On the exhaust side, you should see the a/r number inside the turbine inlet on the short side. If it is a .96 or a 1.08, then you should be good to go.

I asked Jose about this Sat. He mentioned its either a TV75 or TV81. The most popular upgrade is converting them to a 88mm. They will support 1000+ rwhp like that.

Excellent. Thanks for the help. I assume if I'm only going for 550rwhp to 600rwhp that it should suffice as it is. Does anyone have any real experience with these TV units? Any pros or cons to them?

Yea I definatley would love to see pics. Still getting together a few things before I install everything. Why did you have to cut your radiator support? Are you using the Phamspeed kit? I heard that the large frame turbos were supposed to fit.

Here's some more pics with #'s on the turbo. Hopefully someone will recognize these.

It says B1.02 stamped on the turbine flange:

This one says 1.08 on the turbine housing. Almost looks like the letters A and R before it. Hard to tell but maybe it is a 1.08 A/R?

Has 75 stamped into the compressor outlet. Don't know if it means 75mm housing or 75 A/R?

On the other side of the compressor outlet is stamped the # 2.

Hard to see but the #'s 359 are stamped on the compressor wheel.

The compressor housing itself doesn't seem all that large. It's only 9.5" in diameter. Hopefully someone will know what these #'s mean. It is a Garrett compressor housing and a AiResearch turbine housing.

The compressor cover A/R is .75. The turbine housing is 1.08A/R. That unit appears to be a TV81-02. The other #'s are just casting #'s.
