fuel(injectors, pump etc), almost perfect tuning(keeping it on the rich side of course) and some praying to god that it holds lol...thats if u dont want to spend big money, but to be really safe swap pistons for forged ones with nice quality rings, decent heads/cam if u want to wake it up alil more, thats basically it more or less...should be easily over 500 with that with 'some' piece of mind hope this helps

5.7L aluminum or 6.0L iron LS1 block, fully machined, deck squared, torque plate honed, line honed mains, ARP main studs, stock reground crankshaft race prepped, 4340 H-beam rods, forged flat top pistons, Plasma moly rings, Clevite bearings, Fully balanced, blueprinted, and assembled.
thats the description for it.

A stock LS1 bottom end will generally handle 500 rwhp, above 500 rwhp and you're taking a gamble. It is all about keeping detonation away, meaning you have to have a good tune, fuel pressure and injectors. I have heard of too many forced induction guys thinking they can wait on getting a tune, and end up ruining their #7 piston, sometimes the block and heads as well. Bob
