Default Grr Turbo Sts Issue....

Alright here is my issue...

1. Electronic boost Controller. My mechanic actually hooked it up wrong and so I was running 10 psi around town..but then I fixed that and changed it back to 5 psi but then comes another issue....

2. When I floor it what happens is the car gets to boost quick to 5 psi but then the wastegate lets out and sounds like the car boggs down like hitting the rev limiter or something. So at 4000 rpms my car just stalls at 5 psi and doesnt go.....this is very weird so I was wondering if anyone with the STS kit or turbo kit can explain what is happening...also

3. I would like to know how to adjust the boost controller...like set my own high and low setting on the turbo....so let me know whats up

Thanks
Bankz

p.s. I dont have a BOV but talking to TRT about that and what does it mean when the turbo or wastegate is flooding...

sounds more like an installer issue than an STS issue.

Yes, You have to realize that whom ever tuned the car, tuned it for the most likely 10psi. Unless you are running a 2-3 bar SD tune, there is no way to tune a LS1 for multiple boost levels. The Maf is going to be maxed out pretty much any time you are in boost. So, I'd say at 5 psi you are way over fueled...
