Default GT42 question

Been reading through some old post about A/R's and boost rates and where turbos peak.and ...and ..and..wow that's a lot of info
So anyway, say I had this GT42 94mm w/ 70mm inducer. T4 flange 1.01 A/R and planned to put it on my LS1 (347) w/317 heads and some -8cc flat top pistons..what are your thoughts on this? there is plenty of air and fuel being supplied. Good combo, yes/no??

Go with the GT42-74mm or the GT42-76mm (inducer sizes). No reason not to go with one of these larger units, they will still spool very fast on a mild 346. You'll love it, the car will be an animal.

I agree. I've been in a 661 rwhp T76-S (GT42 housing) car and it moves on the street. Lag time is minimal also. You won't be dissapointed.

Good luck
Andy

Sounds good but I already have this one. What kind of performance would this one give me? I'm not against sending it it to get reworked since it will still be several months before I'm ready to go...at my current rate

Should have no problem making 700rwhp with the turbo....as long as everything else is up to snuff.
