I was wondering how often is it to find a used D-1sc kit in the for sale section? I was looking at forced induction but its too expensive, so i thought i would go used. How often do they they pop up for LS1's?

If you keep the stock motor at 10 or less pounds of boost reliabilty will not be an issue. Anything at 11 or higher on a stock motor and it becomes just a matter of time before it goes boom!

Saw this one very good price! If you do buy a used one, it is not a big deal. Best thing to do is send it back to ATI for inspection and resealing. Well worth the money and it will give you the piece of mind knowing that things are in good shape.

I'm running a P1SC at 8.5 lbs of boost and putting down 650 RWHP. Its all a matter tuning and using the proper fuel. High compression with low boost can work well but there is no margin for errors. Meth injection is a good Idea for added safety factor since who know what you get at the pump these days.

Im really not knowing what to do with my car whether to go with FI (procharger) or a big shot of nitrous. I mean I could do a blower with stock motor, tranny, and rear or buy a tranny, heads/cam and then nitrous. Its just that i have heard that FI is soooo expensive with thetuning and the actual price of the setup. I dont like the idea of N2O but it is soo much cheaper.
