I think I just maxxed out my racetronix 50's. Im at 602 RWHP and by 5200 rpm I start going lean and my injector cycle duty goes to like 102% by 6100 rpm it 120% . Im thinking Im maxing these bad boys out and need bigger ones. What do you guys think?

At what RPM and base pressure is really the question.

I had to move from 96's to 160's when the boost went up and I didn't want to bump my base pressure any more.

BSFC is one "****" for figuring out what you can make with an injector, but start pushing the RPM and you lose that ability.

FWIW, you only have ~15ms to get in all your fuel at 8K RPM. I was seeing 12 to 13 ms pulsewidths with 160's at ~30psi on my old setup. Was I making near max power of those injectors? Nope, but I was fueling to keep my valves at a reasonable temperature ~10.3:1 give or take a tenth.

RPM MUST be considered when sizing you injectors

It will be shifting around 7300 RPM.

Thanks for the great info, it looks like I definantly will need to get 160s before the end but 96s will do the job for now

I am hoping I will have enough injector for 900-1000rwhp. But only time will tell and every setup seems to perform a little differently.

trying to remeber but i think i was looking at stock pressure (was about 2 years ago when i got my 96's that i havent installed yet, still runing your old 42's
good info about the rpm, dont think ill be spinning that high, just gonna try for 7k and hoping the 96's will get me to 1000rwhp, might install my 28's to do a little bit of work to, but mostly street duty.
