Default New Bell TT Intercooler pics

I sent Gerhard drawings last Tuesday and it arrived today. Super quality...pics don't do the welds justice. Core is 10 x 30 x 4.5 vertical flow...1323 cfm at 1psi drop...overall height is 14.50 inches...bolted it in tonight ...tight,tight,tight fit but it fits....need to do some fab and coupler work this weekend....weighs 35 lbs. I hope it drops my IAT's to 30 over ambient. Baby Incon IC in the pic is up to 100 over ambient at 16psi at 130mph.

looks great.

Do you want to sell the incon IC's, or any other parts your replacing of the kit? I'm trying to piece one together.

Thanks

Ryan

nice, but i would have tried to get the end caps bigger
it would help it cool down a little more.

I'll post some after I get the mount correct. I test fitted the fascia last night and everything barely fits.

We actually looked at dropping the core height to pick up end tank height, but it was a horrible trade-off in the thermal model.....without getting geeky, you want all the flow core that you can get for thermal efficiency...obviously there is a balance in pressure drop vs core flow length vs core thickness vs thermal eff vs core width.....this one was thermal modeled primarily and pressure drop secondarily since I had plenty of core width and depth to flow 1300cfm at 1si drop. I would have given up some of the 1300cfm for more thermal eff since my Incons max at 1100 cfm.... there's a thermal "trick" in the feed tanks in the pic..
