Wondering if you truck mani guys could chime in with #'s youre seeing on a stock block, preferably @ 5-6lbs and 8-9lbs of boost. Im going to be doing a single setup on stock block/internals for now w/prob 42lb injectors, am I am just curious as to what I might see.

Also, I was reading farily recently where someone w/a twin setup(non truck mani I think) had the a/c relocated or w/e. How doable would it be to relocate the a/c on a single truck mani setup??

Well since stock shortblocks are good to about 550rwhp before the ring lands eventually fail.... that would be a good target.

Also 42lbrs will limit you to around 550rwhp anyway.

Why not put in some forged pistons, buget Eagle rods, stock crank, stock 6.0 heads and make 600-700rwhp+ with stock LS6 intake/TB safely.

That was my goal. I'm going to mainly be running on low boost say 5-6lbs, and when I need to, or at the track, I will turn it up to around 8-10lbs. I want to pull around 500-550rwhp. Then afterwards I will start to forge the motor.Can I get 6.0heads fairly cheap? If so would you recommend me putting some on before I start to forge the motor? And last but not least, how much am I looking at spending for each of those items?

i have 6.0 manis and 6.0 heads mildly ported 290.intake 186.exhaust with a small cam 214 218 564. 546. on a 115 and on 8 psi i did 547 rwh with no methonal...so will see what happens on meth...im sure its time for the new short block, once i start driving the car hard!
