New Supercharger! now 1 question
Ok, my supercharger kit came, but its missing some components. As for the pressure relief valve, where does the air discharge tube go? It's a large opening 1" x 2 1/2", am I supposed to run a hose from the opening of it and direct it somewhere, can someone shed some light on this?

I was fortunate enough to get a pressure relief valve, http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...tegory_Code=AC
but my question is, does the air discharge valve hook up to anything, or is it just open in the engine compartment, it doesn't seem like it would be. just need help in the right direction

I think and air disharge valve is also known as a BLOW OFF valve, if so that is released into the engine compartment ,,, not back into the piping

Yes, on turbo applications it's a blow off valve, basically the same exact thing. So you're saying that that air is just released into the atmosphere, no specific location in the engine compartment? I think I might run a hose so that debris doesn't get caught up in the valve.

On Turbo Applications its a wastegate, in supercharged applications its a blow-off valve.
