I was getting ready to order a tial but thought id do a little research.

How do these stack up considering theyre a fraction of the cost:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo...72919550QQrdZ1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/38mm-...73234526QQrdZ1

all are 38mm and look like a tial. i was particularly interested in the turbo xs as ive had/others have had other stuff of theirs and had luck.

just dont expect to use them with race gas.

A wastegate is a simple device.. not hard to make or copy.. its just when you start using leaded gas is when you need some nice materials for the diapraghm/seals

They work "ok" with pump gas. The diaphram's in them are cheap, and typically the valve guide is cheap. If you run low boost applications and don't care for some occassional boost spiking then your ok. But to me the wastegate and the turbo are 2 places you don't skimp. BTW, you can forget using them with racefuel. They will stick like super glue.

i figure the turbo xs is the best of the three i posted. its a difference of over $120 so im somewhat reluctant to sprout for a tial. Im only runnin low boost and the car doesnt see track time maybe once or twice.
