It looks like it sits lower than the alt relo that everyone uses. Couldn't we use this and then relocate the alt to the driver side top?

Well, I have been looking at this option since I want to do the truck mani turbo, but dont want to lose my AC. With all the fabrication we go thru on these cars I am literally shocked to know that no one has come out with a bracket to our AC similar. I know there was one posted here from an X employee of a sponsor here, but that went away. NE word on that bracket? If not, I am looking into using a compressor from a cadillac. My buddy is running a Caddy 500"ci in his chevy truck, AC Comp sits on a bracket similar to the one in the link, however the compressor is about 3/4" smaller in dia. and about half the length, so you could mount it much closer to the LS1 block. It keeps his truck freezing cold, so it should keep an F body cool enough.
I am not starting the truck setup until I can figure a way to keep the AC. Personally I think whoever makes the bracket will make quite a lot of money, more than if they redesigned a kit to go around it!
