it looks like an IAT sensor but i could be wrong

Its the one that goes on the airfilter assemly. Just want to know what to do with if when Im done with turbo install.

you have to drill a hole in ur cold side pipe( close enough to plug the sensor in and connect it) and put the grommit in there and then pop that in.

Should it go before or after the maf? Before or after BOV?

I would say before it sinced it's before it in the first place...I don't think that it really matters if it's before or after the bov because it's basically just going to get a reading to know when the temperature changes...

so no big deal if i dont plug it in. I can just tune it out with hp tunners.

no you need that sensor plugged in.the ECM takes into account that sensor to figure out fuel and timing.Its not that big of a deal to make a hole and put it in.

Are there any negative effects w/ installing that sensor in inbetween the throttle body and the MAF? STS kits have that set up.
