Installing Incon Kit... Should I Shoot Myself?
I just paid for a new kit, brand new, and it's said to be 100% complete except for fuel injectors, gauges, and a tune. The previous owner paid for the hot/cold parts to be coated and the turbos are the GT37's.
I'm good with a wrench, but I've read/heard that this kit will be a nightmare to install. I read Harlan's web-page (very informative) and have spoken with Cablebandit for almost an hour...
I've thought of re-selling the kit!!! What trouble am I getting into with this thing? If you Incon guys think of some install tips I'd love to hear them!!!
Some pics... (not every part is pictured)

Once you've got it together and tuned you won't regret it. I can't give you much advice as I didn't install the kit myself . . . although I've done a motor swap since then, and let me say one thing: do it on a lift. I did it on jackstands through the top of the car and it was a PITA to get it in with those manifolds.

Don't be such a baby
I've been thinking about it myself and I think in the long run dropping the K-member with the engine on board and installing the kit is going to be the easiest. At least from what I can tell.
In fact when I swap in the new K-member I'm going to install the kit. 2 birds, 1 stone.

I don't know man.... I don't think you shouldn't be involved with a kit so complicated...
I'd get rid of it...
I'll give you $6,000 and I'll pick it up tomorrow.

I'll have to do this on large jackstands in my one car garage over a 3 week period. I have lots of tools and I can borrow others.
I've pretty much rebuilt my car in that garage so I know my way around the car, but I'm not wanting to drop the motor or remove the k-member for this install.
I know I'll have to remove the front bumper, foam, and inner fenders, how about some of the front suspension??? I've heard different things. The seller has laminated instructions, but I wont have those till I actually drive to pick up the kit in person next week. ~Joshua
p.s.- thanks for the advice.

lol....it is easiest to drop the k-member josh...just like my car is. 3 weeks is plenty of time. one week is plenty. Anybody who has the patience to polish all that stuff can do this. It is some work but I'll try to help you out. The instructions are pretty good and it really isnt that bad. Dropping the k-member makes it tons easier......you are an idiot if you sell it.....one week of work and you will put more miles on the car afterwards...i guarantee that!!!
