Default Quick question about power with FI during summer/winter...

Ok, so when I had my car re-dynoed at Allans place, it put down 833rwhp and 828 rwtq on pump gas at 13.5 lbs in 100* weather.

When I get the car back here to Az, and once it cools off, lets say to 60*, approx how much power do you think would increase, if at all?

Also let me know what other factors would be needed to be taken into account.

It all depends on how it is programmed. Saying how much is just pure speculation without looking at it. I hope you had him send you your program on disk or via email so you know what you are dealing with.

I will ask him to send me a copy for my reference.

remember that since you were tuned in such hot weather that when winter comes the car is going to lean out a lil so be careful.

He does have an SD tune on it, Im assuming since he's allan futral he should have most all his bases covered.

Do you think I'll pick up any power when temps drop 40*s?

As far as the lean thing goes, i would think it would be running more rich when its cold out side right?

I mean its tuned for less dense air right now, so when cold air starts coming it will probably try to throw more fuel in to compensate for the more dense air?

1) ask futral. he is the only one that knows.
2) when you are with him, ask all the questions possible. you should know how he opperates by now
3) if its SD, it will not compensate for different temps very well.

I have asked him all my questions that I can think of, but when he responds hes kind of picky with responding about all the questions ive had.

I dunno if its a matter of time that limits his responses or what, but sometimes i need to ask a few times to get an answer.

With a setup like yours it is no secret you have dropped some major coin with him. I would expect answers to all my questions witha quickness piont blank. That or I would go elsewhere. I know Alan is good at what he does, but he is good because people like you have him to be. JMO.
