Turbos are complex compared to superchargers. Very few turbo kits available today will last for 50k miles. The manifolds will crack over time and not many companies survive very long to stand behind their product.
If I didn't have an Incon TT kit (the best), I would've bought a D1 Procharger to be sure.

I am curious to see how long some of the truck manifold kits last. Seems to me they would stand a good chance of going the distance, provided the rest of the setup is not slopped together.

After reviewing everything and really wanting a turbo badly, i decided with the kits on the market and their current pricing i was gonna go with a procharger. There are some quality turbo kits on the market. But the ones with no comprimises, and good quality are VERY expensive (in my opinion way overpriced to be quite honest). You can get a descent priced turbo setup if you wanna loose A/C or have both banks feed through 1 log style manifold or some less then ideal in one way or another configuration. Also many of the rubo kits have just as many hidden costs as a supercharger with an 8 rib setup and whatnot, most all of the turbo kits are far from complete. Needing many little parts that you have to hunt down and they nickel and dime you like you would never believe. Im happy with my decision, no fancy turbo to brag about, but i will still make tons of power and saved thousands over a good quality turbo kit. Also the prochargers are tried and true, the issues all have solutions now, its been around and stood the test of time in my opinion. Ill sleep well at night not wondering if my manifold might crack the next day.
