Default 18mpg!!

figured up my gas mileage today. 18.2mpg!!!!!!!!! i think that rocks. that include getting on it for a short burst or two. this is through a 6 speed. how bad do you think it would drop with an auto? this is on the old tune, set for 10psi. on those short burst it only sees 5psi max. this is with new heads and cam so its hard to tell how it will end up doin once i get a wide band and start doin a lot of street tuning. any tips to make it go up in the 20s on the highway?

i mean you cant beat that. all this power and still stock like gas mileage. i would imagine an auto car especially a 3 speed would be horrible

I haven't gone through a full tank without beating on it since I installed 2.75's, but my gas milage has gone up by A LOT compared to the 3.50's. With the 3.50's if I took it easy I would get about 10-11 mpg, could go about 140-150 miles on a full tank. With the new gears and beating on it a whole lot I got 180 out of a tank (a/c on) which was about the max I could get when I was 6spd. If I took it easy (what fun is that) I could probably get 200 miles to a tank. Th400 is not as bad as people think as long as you have the right gear and converter.

PS, I do probably 60/40 city/highway.
