Default twin gts 70's are alive and well

in case you missed it here is the build up thread, figured it was geting prety long so i started a new one. >> http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...0&page=1&pp=40

here is a vid of the start up and some break in miles. http://www.1320video.com/videos.php

so far i am keeping it to 3-4psi, i need to finish up a few things before i really beat on it. probably have some performance data in a week or so , i am real happy with how it is running. it just fires up and drives, nothing to it. smooth, a little loud. seems like it will be laggy but i haven't triad loading it up at all or going wot.

anyone know what that deep noise is when i let off the gas. i can hear the bov's they are a nice pshhh but there is another deep noise.

I'm pretty sure that is the sound of a pressure spike in your intake track, and boost pressure going the WRONG way through the turbo (exiting the *inlet* of the turbo). When this would happen with my car, it almost sounded like a duck! If that is the case, your BOV(s) aren't set up correctly, and you need to adjust them to be more sensitive. Or maybe the BOV(s) are too small for the application?

That's pretty damn sweet! That deep noise kinda sounds like a resonating pipe, like an organ almost. The location of the BOV's, size and length of the pipe, etc, may be causing this. But what do I know

Yea, I'm curious as well. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would be crazy.

Parish- looking good man. I really like what you have done/are doing with your truck. Definitely a sweet ride. Good luck with it.

Why is it "car" is in quotations and I see the perfect truck candidate in the sig?

Congrats Parish! Your truck has been nothing short of insane since you've started the mods. You need to do another "tire flex" video on this setup lol.

I dont even wanna know what type of #s you're shooting for with this setup. 1000/1100 on the old setup would've been more then fine by me lol. Keep up the good work man

Truck is looking great Parish! Sounds healthy in the video. Can't wait to see what it does when you get it broken in and on the Dyno (and to the track again)! Good luck!

Thats why "car" is in quotes With the hydroboost brake conversion, there's plenty of valve cover/cylinder head clearance. I'm going to need to slide the steering shaft over a little. Working on the oil pan now...an off-the shelf Chevy II BBC conversion pan almost fits; just needs the front kick-out and one corner trimmed for the front dif. (Need to clearance it for the extra stroke as well.) Overall, this is not nearly as difficult a swap as you'd think.
