Default Center gauge mounting

Alright I do have the xd16 air/fuel gauge from innovate motorsports and I am trying to install the gauge in the center a/c vent...I have taken my radio out and the vent then I noticed that the gauge looks kinda small there...so i was wondering how would you hold the gauge there in place....like is there a part I need to mount them there....its the regular gauge that can go into 3 pod gauge.? I hope you guys understand what I am talking about

I believe with the deflector vent removed, it will hold a 2-5/8 gauge. You must be using a 2-1/16.
The last one I mounted there I just removed the deflector assy and installed a filler to hold a 1-1/16.

Here are a few shots, hope this helps.

How do you pop those vents out?

Does the entire assembly come out as one or do the vents come out seperate?

what i did (camaro, no cool vents) was take out my radio and glue a piece of plastic in the place of it then cut out 3 holes in there for gauges, looks cool and works great for you camaro guys without the free mounting holes TA guys have. this is assuming its a race car with no radio.
