Default Need some help identifying some metal I found in my oil.

Seen the thread, its not stock seals or stock rocker parts, dont know what your springs use for seals though. I cant really ID exactly what it is and I have had quite a few of these engines apart, but its something from the valvetrain most likely.

looks like the outer race of a rocker arm trunion

it should be fairly obvious once you get the covers off

my buddys comp magnums splattered on him with similar results

Could it be the tip of a stock, or stock made, valve? They have a cap on them, and could break off?

Take your valve covers off bro. I thinks thats from the rockers as other have stated!
