From my research on this site I think a 3K would be well suited with a street driven/ weekend warrior turbo set up. This is what I plan on going with (fuddle T/C)

3500-4000 should be ideal for your setup with that trans

My stall is super tight, around 2600, but it goes to 3500 at 5psi. My old Vig was around 3600 but would stall to 4000 at 5psi and flash to 5500 at 12psi.

If i'm cruising in 3rd gear, say 65mph which is 2200 rpms and roll into it my stall will go to 4700 at 15psi (only did this as a test, it's hard on the trans).

A 3500 stall is probably a good match if you are going to shift around 7000 and not turn the boost up any more. It's going to feel really loose with the 3.08 gear. I'd suggest tightening it up if you plan on street driving it.

I don't know how people can tolerate dirving around with these 3500 and 4000 rpm stalls, My stall feels just about perfect to me.

Best advice is just try it and see.

i have a 5.3 w/ a GT45 in my nova, TCI SSF 4000 stall/ TH350 and 3.50 gears.
It works perfect.

Driveability is not even noticable. I used to have a 4800 stall and 3.50 gears, driveabilty on that was perfect also.

Turbo's like high gears to load the engine and make the turbo spool. Research on here shows people making more boost down low due to changing from 3.73's to 3.23's or even 2.73's.

pwrtrip75-got any 1/4 mile times with your setup yet.

No I bent a pushrod, cracked the lifter tray and then a lifter turned sideways and ate the wheel off it. I got a new cam, I just havnt installed it yet.
