Default Another dyno update.

This time on a dynojet for an event put together here in texas heat:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/550196-update-dallas-lsx-s-representin-h-town.html

just for those who wanted to compare the mustang to dyno numbers....

but for added comparison, during these new runs, my coolant temps were at 230* I had been out tuning minutes before the runs and it was hotter then hell out there. THen they couldn't get the dyno to pick up RPM and we fucked around for a while, did one failed run, by that time the motor was boiling, I was not happy but the numbers were still decent

Yes that definitely was last minute tuning.......those steets are terrible. Tiago and I drove around looking for a street to do these passes on for at least 10 min.

It HAD to be the swirly V6 Firebird wheels, those alone are probably worth 100 rwhp due to cool factor

Nice numbers Tiago.

We swapped the "swirly" wheels you want them. 500.00 I think they'll fit the c6.

tiago...dude.. your killin me!

thought i see where you typed you picked up like 160rw doing heads/small cam and that intake.

i think this is worth you re-posting links to your build up and any video you got.

also, i know you run 96's, what is the rest of your fuel set up?

way to go! (go to the track before you blow it up)

also, did i miss where you mentioned the boost pressure? spraying any meth? on what octane?

hahah

yea we actually mounted a set of ET streets on some stock 5 spokes so I had a matching set for the show

I think the ET's rob some dyno power eh???

non-radial ET's expand, reducing effective gear ratio, and are lighter. Both actually help dyno racing.

Mightymouse, Tiago still has a stock 10-bolt rearend. Probably wouldn't survive one hard pass.

fuel setup is two walbros in tank, with racetronix harness and a volt blaster! LOL
CAS regulator up front, -8AN line from the pumps Y to the rail.

no meth. i used a mix of 109 and 116, resulting in 112 octane.lol

I ran 18psi but teh damn thing didn't pick up any from 16 psi. Same phenomina I had when I went from 12 to 16 psi. only picked up 30 hp. I ended up adding 4* of timing and it jumped another 70 rwhp. I think it needs even mroe timing at 18 to gain the hp.

it lives doing 59S bombs. I figure if I roll out of the 60ft and hammer it it should live. As long as I don't launch it hard, it seems to keep living.

No roll cage though...so 1 time and we're out.

For safety's sake, please put a rearend under that car with at least 33 spline axles. I had the opportunity to break a 10-bolt shifting into 4th gear at the track, over 100 mph. It locked up and almost put me into the wall, but I managed to skid my way out of it. That was with half the rwhp you have now. I'd hate to see you lose that car because of a POS 10-bolt.

yea that does scare me, I want a cage for the same reason..... just in case, even if I don't go to the track.
