Default Newby 6.0L with Garrett TV81

Hello all, new to the forum and first post. I picked up a LQ4/4L80E power train out of a 2005 Expressvan with less than 10 miles of use!

It's going into my 72 Stingray. I plan to use this TV8117 and I'm looking for a smaller A/R turbine housing, any body got one, suggestions?

Specs are:

Compressor housing A/R .95 (5" inlet 3.5" outlet)
Compressor wheel 56 trim (108mm / 4.270" major) (81mm / 3.177 inducer)
Turbine housing A/R 1.39 (5" V-band outlet and T6 inlet)
Turbine wheel 75 trim (111mm / 4.360" major) (96mm / 3.785" inducer)

Also which tuning software LS1 Edit or Hp Tuner...

Thanks Frank

Here's my project so far... The body is back on the frame now with finishing touches being made to the body still in progress. The GEN1 is coming out to make room for the 6.0L. The swap wasn’t planed. I was looking for an overdrive tranny on eBay when I found the 6.0L drive train. The advantages of the GEN III along with it being a complete new package made it too easy to hit the "Buy It Now" button on eBay...

What are your horsepower goals for it?

Jose at ForcedInductions can probably hook you up with a new exhaust housing

I’m looking for at least 600 to the ground. It’s going to be a 402 with the 317 heads hand ported. My cam choice is 228/224 114 LSA .575 lift installed on a 110, which is very similar to my GEN I roller. I would like to get the smallest exhaust housing as possible. I will try to contact Jose next week. Maybe he will read this and save me a phone call... The turbo will be on the passenger side behind the front wheel with the crossover running under the oil pan. The side gills on my Vette should let the heat out nicely. The stock truck manifolds will be used.

I also want to relocate my alternator like the Firebirds low on the drivers side. I'll swap mounts with someone if anyone is interested. I also will not need the power steering pump, as I have a manual rack & pinion setup. I wasn't planning to run AC but I'm going to now...
