Car runs for 10 sec and then dies--troubleshoot please!!

Car runs for 10 sec and then dies--troubleshoot please!! Not sure if this is the right area to post this in but oh well, here goes.
I just dropped a new 402 engine in my turbo charged 02 trans am. I've had it started many times and had it running at idle for at least a total of 30 minutes. I went to take it around the block and I got a 1/4 mile and in mid throttle the car just shut off. When I go to start it now, it starts, runs for 5-10 seconds and then just shuts off, even if I'm giving it gas. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be? If you need any more info about the mods ask and I'll tell you what you need to know.
I'm desperate to get this thing on the street!!!! Thanks.
