Anyone running MAF and air intake low in the front nose?

Anyone running MAF and air intake low in the front nose? I am thinking of re-routing my supercharger air intake into the drivers side grill area. That would include the MAF sensor. I have heard moisture will kill the hot wire in a MAF so that is a concern since I live in a rainy area. Any advice would be appreciated.
