First time to the track!
The first trip to the track with the turbos. The trans brake wasn't hooked up. So the first pass of the trailer with new tires.
I used the foot brake to bring the rpm up to 1500 to 1800 , I didn't want to roll through the lights. 60' 1.524 8th 5.916 @ 124.70 I let out of it so I could check a/f, breaking before the finish line. 9.413 @ 120.93.
I only got on more run in. I was a special race event. I had a few problems, tires rubbing, we had to shift the rear end over. Minor issues to be expected the first time out.
I was really happy with how the car ran. After coming out so soft on the foot break ,when the turbos came on and started to load ,it was UNREAL!!!! The first run caught me off guard, I couldn't believe how hard it pulled.
I really have to thank Tom Izzo @ Ls1speed, Jim and Dan. Killer set up guys!!!! THANKS!!!!

I'm going to run the 28" tires. I have a new Currie 9" at my work, BUT "Currie" ships the rear end in a CARD BOARD BOX!!!!*(^#&^#(&^#(^#. So the bracket going to the torque arm and hardware parts were missing.
I knew the 3.73's were not going to work. I wanted to check the a/f ratio on the first run, other wise I'm sure it would have run a 9.0-9.1 right off the trailer. I'm sure launching off the t-brake will be a little tricky, I don't have a wheelie bar.
Good luck on yours, keep up the good work!

Yea, I like his car. I didn't know how fast it was, I thought it would have been closer. He's going to run my friends white Mustang next time. It was a fun night.

What gears did you decide on?
If you don't have wheelie bars at least add some limiters. Mine's been on the wheelie bars on a couple of times. The limiters are doing their job.
Good luck.
