Default Will race fuel help me on a street tune.

My car has a standard tune for the streets. I'm running whats in my sig, and I wanted to know if race fuel will help with the same tune. I know it would benefit me to add some timming and boost, but I wanted to know if it would make a diffrence with the my street tune.

Probably wont help you a whole lot unless you are seeing knock with your tune right now..
Usually you only beneftit from high octane fuel with added timing

Might actually LOSE a little... at the same timing/boost level that is.

You have a built motor, why stop at 8.7psi?

like he said it wont help MUCH -unless you adjust timing all around for the new gas, & then that would mean you would have to run race gas ALL the time...unless you have tuning software yourself, i wouldnt do it...cuz if you have a tuner that does things for you, you would probably have to go back and forth to the dyno everytime u decide to change your octane

The only reason I would run high octane on a car not tuned for it would be the safety factor, to prevent detonation

If you have the Tial external gate - the waste gate that comes with the your STS, without the "race" valves, you will RUIN your valves, running race gas. Try some alcohol injection first or a better tune.

you can run it but it will probably kill your o2 sensors. might as well run more boost and timing if your gonna put it in your tank

depends on what race gas, when I go from 91 octane to 105 octane my a/f changes quite a bit, I wouldnt use any without tuning,
