turbo tuning opinions
I am at a delima. My first problem is whatever option I go with the car needs to be done in 2 weeks. I have a 408 with unported 6.0l heads, 246/246 .630 115 lsa cam, th400, 9 inch rear. The car has a t4 88 on it with tial 44mm gate and bov. I am wanting to find the best tuning option that can be done in the short amount of time. I was initially thinking of going sd 3 bar and having EPP put a tune on the car. To do so they charge $850, I have to run a driver box for the injectors the car needs to make the power, and then I have spent all this money and have no logger for the car, and they charge for retuning down the road.
Would you just suck it up and buy a standalone? I know that with fast/bs3 I can have a logger, and driver box built into one, as well as alot of features over stock hacked computer. In the end I will also have $3xxx after tuning with the aftermarket and about $1350 in the stock computer 3 bar.
What is everyone's opinion?

if you have a 98 ecu...you are stuck with 2bar from hptuners. not 3 unless you have the tuner redo the scaling.
if u got the cash...get the bs3. few people here are using it (mightymouse). but a hptuners tune should do the trick if you are short on cash.
