Hi

Im new to all of this , and I was thinking.

I have direct port (150shot) with a 6l Iron block,

i am thinking a 150 shot might be a little much....but it depends on how built your motor is.....and if your CR is to high. but i could be wrong....

sounds like a lot of fun but why not just sell the dp kit and get a turbo kit...than run more boost!

boost is with you all the time!!! gotta turn the gas on

What would you call a well build motor ?

I have LQ4 6L Iron block with lunati pistons.

Would it not be safe with even a good tune ?

Thanks

I believe he wants to run a shot (needs to be smaller than 150 unless you want to die LOL) off the line to spool the turbo. Wouldn't make any sense at all to run nitrous WITH the turbo under full boost... talk about taxing the engine. I mean, it's do-able, but for what reason? What compression ratio are you running on that engine?

i would say use it to launch and use to instead of an intercooler, drop the temp big time, i wouldnt recommend 150. 35 or so would make a big difference.

N2o works great with turbos! you jsut have to be sensibale! lol

start off small, 35 shot lets say, and get it tuned by the best shop you can! you have to rememer that (thanks to the cooling properties of the N2O, you will make about double the shot power gain. so a 35 shot should net you around 70bhp gain!!

i would get a 2step if you want really boost off the line! then you can use the N2o to help cool the intake and build boost!

thanks Chris.

go for wet! that way its already sticking some fuel into to help the injectors out!
