Default 408 iron and d1sc procharger

my motor is leaving LME tomorrow from i was told. basic specs are: 9.0.1 compression with afr 225 heads. cam around 24x/25x .64x 115lsa I had them do the whole long block for me to make sure all was to spec and i can just swap over the covers and sensor and drop in the motor. i was told by bryan i would have to do a few clearancing issues for the arp studs and various others. im hoping to get the motor running and tuned in the next three weeks.
i know everyone says the d1sc will spin alot to hit max boost but im not after max boost or super gobs of power. wish me luck on the install. this is my first procharger install and lsx motor swap. one thing is for sure.. i know im not even pushing this motor to its limits not even close. my only other problem is what am i going to do for fuel

this is its current state for the past month

but i will be posting up on this thread as i WILL be having some questions during my install

I'd run twin internal pumps, and a -8 fuel line running up to the front. You can use the stock line as a return line. You'll need a regulator, and I'd also use larger fuel rails. Bob

when installing the 8 rib pulley to the ati balancer, its not very clear as to which bolt holes i use for the new three supplied bolts with s/c pulley. im guessing i take out the three 12 points and use the new ones suppplied. thats the only holes i see capable.

thanks for your help folks. i just want to make sure this all goes as smooth as possible. from motor to s/c to new fuel setup... ima have a lot or tweaking to find out whats not right if it doesnt start up on my first attempts. but this will be towed to a dyno to get a basic sd tune before i even take it out on the streets.

.................................................. .....................................

found this in gm hightech performance and mine will not bolt down like this one . i have the no a/c version is that why the holes dont go through on mine?

http://www.nastyperformance.com/FuelSystems.html

would this be alil over board... prolly going with the stage 1 race kit. and nate will be upgrading the fuel pump to a different one. some say im crazy but id rather be safe. putting all this money into the motor and blower i dont want to half *** on fuel

i already have 60# injectors. just showed up yesterday too.

That's a big cam for a blower motor! Good luck with it. Should make some pretty nice power.

Everything sounds real nice. Big blower cam for sure... but if it works who cares. My only thought is that those 60# injectors are going to see well over 95% duty cycle in the upper RPMs. I am doing a very similar build on my GTO with an F1C Procharger and I opted to go ahead and get the VersaFueler and 96# Injectors.

Good Luck and I certainly hope you have enough injector! I have run out of injector on the dyno and had to spend 2 hrs searching local shops for larger ones! It sucked!

yeah i thought the same too. but this will prolly not even be seeing the track much if at all. when i had the bottle i rarely went to past 6200 rpm so we'll see how it works. this for sure will be alot faster than before so maybe i wont even see 5800 rpms lol. i already have it set up with my tuner to get it going. after 1000 miles we'll go ***** out to see what happens. i have been reading some of your threads too. which motor did you decide on?

got my motor today 6/7/06

i found some pictures to help drilling my crank, but damn is there a better drill bit. i using air tools but this bit just doesnt want to bite. im using an eagle crank, is that why it wont bite =)

update: used my own bits to start a nice pilot hole. then went larger and then used the bits they supplied...
