Default Magnacharger

is there any way at all that a roots type blower would work on a LS1/LS2 F Body?

could it be placed ahead of the engine but still operated with the belt obviously, I will just need a hood change.

You're going to have to cut up the brace above the engine to fit a decent sized one in there. You'll prob have to relocate one of your wipers too.

Not as hard as people think, I have one and it's great! very minimal cutting involved.

I believe there is a vendor who is developing an f-body kit right now, and will be a sponsor soon

Time will tell. We don't want you guys bugging him while he is putting these kits together. He wants to keep 10 kits in stock at all times, and have some ready to sell before becoming a sponsor here.

You guys can start replying to put you on the waiting list if you wish

I would really like to see a screw type, but I'd be interested in a roots based as well.

I think one can be placed not center mounted, but a bit forward so the pulley is behing the blower and the Throttlebody isright where the lid would begin, but then we would need a cowl hood for that.

thanks. No charge for the sexy car ****, ha.

I don't have the specifics on this kit, other than they are roots blowers. Whether that is the MP112 or the MP122, I'm not certain. Maybe both? They have the same height, just the 22 is a little longer.

But, there is definitely a market for roots setups on f-bodies, glad someone is developing a complete kit for us. The Corvette guys love them for sure.
