Default Finally! >650 rwhp with TTi Street Kit!

Well I hit my goal over the weekend. My last dyno I hit 643rwhp/621 rwtq and I was pretty happy with that since the kit was never really designed for these hp levels. After chasing down some gremlins over the course of the year, I hit the rollers this weekend.

VIDEO LINK HERE

With the the WG spring at 10.5 psi and the manual boost controller turned all the way up I did theree pulls dialing in the AFR and timing.

Anyway the Results were:

1st 659.5hp/625 Tq (Actual) 642.4/608.8tq (SAE) This run was odd, cause it didn't start logging till very late in the pull.

2nd 671.4hp/758.1tq (Actual) 653.6hp/738.2tq (SAE) Good Clean pull

3rd 665.5hp/802.6tq (Actual) 648.2hp/781.7tq (SAE) Brake Boosting for the Tq!

The Combination:
TTi Street kit T-76 (on center, .96 turbine ar) Custom FMIC
Futral 370 9:1cr short block
AFR 225 72cc heads w/upgraded AFR springs
Comp Cams 224/224 Cam .576 lift 116 lsa (custom, idles at 650-700 rpm)
Ported LS6 intake (LS2PortWorks) Port matched to the Heads
Stock Throttle Body
60lb Motortron Injectors
Dual intank 255's
Snow Methanol injection (100% Methanol)
Fuel controlled by Accel
Ignition by HP Tuners
SDPC Ported Oil Pump

Transmission is a Speed Secrets 4L65-e
Converter is a PYE 3400

Moser/HighSpeedProducts 9" w/3.50 gears and a LSD

Wheels were 17X11's with Hoosier 335/35/17 Drag Radials (Thanks again Mark)

The AFR ended up a bit rich at TQ peak 10.1:1 then ending up right at 11.5-12.0 at HP Peak. Timing was set at about 16.5 at Peak TQ and 20.5 at Peak HP.

Going over my log files I have officially come to the limit of the TTi Street kit. I had my Boost controller pretty close to max. I was making 18.7 psi at 4800 rpm that would gradually drop to 15.5 psi at 6300. I am pretty sure thats all she's got. The fuel system seems to be working pretty well, as the Turbo is maxed out and the injectors are about 94% duty cycle. It would be really interesting to see what the exhaust manifold pressure is, I am guessing around 45-50 psi (no exhaust scavenging here!).

Keep in mind, if this were a manual car, it would have been well over 700RWHP.

Special Thanks go out to:
Turbo Technologies for a great kit!
LS2PortWorks for a great hookup on the manifold
Scoggin Dickey Parts Center for all the odds and ends (Best, Hands Down!)

Here is one Dyno Graph I only pulled it up to 5900 rpm on this pull (the Blue line is WAHUSKER's D1SC 402). Yes its Actual, but the SAE numbers are above.

Impressive, congrats!

Also, since you maxed out the kit, what are your plans now?

Timing is in the post, 16.5 at Peak TQ, 20.5 at Peak HP.

Plans now? Drive it!

No, it was a mix, of pump and race (116 octane ).

Not really sure what the effective octane was but it sure smelled purdy .

Congrats again Ryan! I hope you enjoyed the Mikes.....

And the one thing I gurantee people cannot appreciate on that video is the sound your car makes. That noise is INSANE!!! And yes, it did smell very nice.....race gas + methanol & burning rubber....almost as nice as nitro.

I had changed a few things up from the last dyno, and this was a Dyno day setup at one of the shops in my area. I did change the cam out since the last dyno, but it was not a significant change, went from a 226/222 115 lsa to the 224/224 116 lsa.

I really like this cam, idles great and drive very nice too!

Thanks,
I gained upto 50-60 hp with the Meth, it allowed me to run 3-6* more timing.

Nice numbers Ryan!

True, but you also wouldn't have that huge converter torque spike at lower rpm, the torque line would be more flat across, similar to a locked converter graph.
