Default General FI question

Without knowing the exhaust, intake, heads, etc... ANYTHING about a car.

Just turbo and PSI. It's damn near impossible to get an idea of what kind of power he's putting down, no?

Because if he has a extremely worked over motor and all the supporting goodies... wouldn't his PSI be lower in general?

PSI is just a measurement of restriction to the available airflow, so PSI can go up with more airflow from the blower or a more restrictive engine.

You can predict power if you know total airflow even knowing just about nothing about the engine (besides type, gas vs diesel…), but boost has nothing to do with power production
