Default LT1 procharged question

My friend just got a smokin deal on an LT1 TA with a procharger. It doesn't have a front swaybar. He was told it had to be taken off to clear the plumbing for the S/C or the intercooler. Is this true? He wants a swaybar and doesn't want to buy one if it's not going to fit. Has anyone else had this problem. I havent' looked at the car yet as he lives about an hour away and won't be able to see it for about a week and a half. Any ideas?

i am pretty sure that if it is the kit from ati he could have the sway bar.
also if he wants a stock 30 mm sway bar i have an extra.

I will see what he wants to do. I will probably test fit my 32 and go from there. If it fits, I'll see if he wants it. Thanks

The modern day LT1 ATI ProChargers with the twin hi flow intercoolers do not have a problem with sway bars. I don't know for sure about the ancient ATI system that mounted the intercooler down by the K member. Bob
