I'd lose the LT's and go back to stock gears.

Nice vid. Good choice in putting the camera guy in the vette. even out that weight advantage

know im pretty sure that would be the car i have, i could be wrong, but how many black sts transam with stock chrome wheels, name matt an live in texas where an the same name of the guy i bought the ta off of. also do you see the smoke(oil) coming off the back of it, that because he didnt install the oil line correctly. from when i first bought the car to now, id say its fast an more reliable after i had to go back an fix everything he fock up installing it. thanks for the compliment even tho thats not me racing, but as for the car its the same, but runs alot better.

Pot calling kettle black..

STS calling previous owners douchebags, but they are selling rear mounted setups..hmm. Carry on.

Theres a lot of science behind it and youll want to poke around in the STS threads concerning it but in short:
Most owners (TRT and EPP ect as well) are starting to see better results with either stock manifolds or shorties that are wrapped (and if possible) ported. LTs dissapate heat and turbo also needs the pressure as well as velocity which a long header will help flow well on an N/A supercharger car but will hinder spool. Not to mention stock manifolds are strong and can take the heat. IIRC, the best setup is a ported set with wrap or insulation (or both maybe). Ive heard painting the wrap also helps seal it from water which is what leads to them cracking and rust

I think its that exhaust paint stuff straight from autozone. The 1200 degree stuff. Search for Zombie's thread hes got a lot of good info and the rear mount guys hes with seem to have done some experiments as well.
