We have a customer running the sidemounts in his c5 making 700rwhp @ 16psi. We also got a customer making 680rwhp on his sidemounts in his camaro. With the mods in your sig, id say your fine at the moment. However, a front mount will keep those inlet temps way down (more power). And by the looks of it, your injectors might need a upgrade too, 60lb's.

As of now, there isnt anyone with a mesh kit. I know with the sts camaro we did, we ended up cutting the plastic out and putting in a billet grill. Im just not sure on how a TA would look with a small billet grill up front. Whatever goes in there must not be restrictive as thats the primary inlet for intercooler.

When people get a FMIC, do they keep the sides, too, or does the FMIC just replace the sides?

When the FMIC is installed, most people do not keep the twin intercoolers on the sides.

Do you have a lot of luck with that IC? It doesn't look too terribly substancial.

We are going to start offering a FMIC kit that includes everything needed to install. Silicone everything, stainless t-bolt clamps , mandrel bent pipes, the works! Prices should start around $850.
