Default Need help - Boost or H/C paclage

Ok so my car has full exhaust right now with a LS6, I have a 90/90 on the way. I also have a G5X1 and she runs great but like many of us we want more. Right now I also have a TNT F1 kit sitting in my garage waiting to go on. My problem is I really would love a blower, most likely a prochager pushing 7 or so lbs. I'm making 382/380 now and I think that might be a little higher since the car is runnign so much better from when I got dynoed. I cant decide on getting a nice blower set up or going with a bigger cam and nice head package then spraying on that. What are average numbers seen on blown Ls1. I've had blown motors before and not having to refill the the power (spray) is a big thing for me. Also what is considered a good blower cam. My cam is a 228/232 588/574 on a 112. Is this going to be needed to get changed with a blower. If I get a blower I want the best to get the most HP safely as I will still be on stock block. Thanks for any advice I am really confused at this point.

I put a d1sc procharger on my 2001 C5 a couple months ago. The car makes around 7-8lbs and puts down 470rwhp 430rwtq. It drives just like stock until around 3000rpms when it starts to make boost. I am impressed with the speed of the car, but it does not do as well at the track as it did when I had a 100 wet shot. If you catch me rolling already then forget about it, i'm gone. With that being said if I had it to do over again I could certainly build a faster car with H/C and nitrous for less money. You could make 430-440 easily and then spray 100 shot and make 530-540 plus have insane torque. The car would be fast enough NA, but when you need that little extra you could spray it every once in awhile. A car making that much NA would rarely need the shot to get the job done, so refills shouldn't be a big deal. I guess I could change pulleys on my car and put down 500-525 and it would be a close race with a H/C sprayed car, but the supercharger is much more expensive. One thing I do not like about my car is the amount of black soot on the rear bumper from running a rich tune to keep the stock motor alive. Just a few things to think about, hope it helps.

DO you want to spend a few thousand dollars on a full heads and nitrous package and your 90/90?

Or do you want to spend ~10k on a fuel system and boost of some sort?

FYI--You can sell the 90/90 and use your LS6 and stock TB if you go boost.

My experience selling all my n/a stuff still did not come close to paying for the FI setup.

I am not real knowledgeable about the blower, but turbo setups seem to have a lot of quirks and stuff that never is an issue when n/a or nitrous.

I think you could make some darn good power with a well built heads/cam engine. You could even look at a 402 with the new L92 top end and a mild nitrous setup. You could probably have 500 rwhp, then 650 on the bottle.

Do both (Procharger F1/FI cam/heads) and rule the world.

Thanks for the responses. All have different points of view and one thing that Im really starting to see is $$$ for a good blower set up and I would get the best if I was going to do it and I really dont have those funds. Specially finding out Im having another kido...Im pretty stoaked on that though. Back to the main point I think I will stay with my spray kit since I already have it and look into with H/C I want. I would like to be at 450 NA then spary when I want to. I also have plans for a 9" out back so Im not to worried about the rear going bye bye. I need to do more research on the best H/C combo for a 90/90 to make good power. I dont just want top end power, Id like to make some good mid range too.

FI costs big money. If it was cheap everyone in town would be running s/c's and turbos.
