We've all seen the 2.6L KB vette with over 800ftlbs of torque at 2500 rpms at I think 16psi (Off the top 'o my head). I'm leaning toward an F1 pro myself and since the KB is right in that price range, it is definitely something to consider; only it may not clear the dash , despite a cowl hood.(on T/A) But an ATI might be able to get the same results with the same boost, and you won't lose the bottom of your windsheild.
If there is even a possibilty, there are numerous threads comparing twin screws, to roots, to turbos, to my grandma armed with twin leaf blowers
Any Procharged vettes with high boost and kb vettes chime in for comparison> since there are no kb fbodys (YET)

you wont get the same results from a ATi as you will from the KB! they are two totaly diffrent styles of superchagring! its like saying turbo and a cent SC will give the same results!
i admit they might give you the same peak results but thats not what the KB is about! the KB was amking over 700lbs ft at around 2000rpm!!!!!and it didn't have a torque curve as much as a torque flat line. lol
im not having a go at the centri SC guys by any means. just saying they are to totaly diffrent, but still VERY cappable, ways of getting more power than you will need!
thanks Chris.

KB has awful customer support (even vendor/dealer/installer support), and they swear that they’ve had hundreds of them fit perfectly without modifying anything, even if it’s a brand new kit that you’re installing one of the first ones (in the latest, specific case that I was dealing with the inlet elbow and the main support bracket were machined incorrectly, the wrong tensioner pulleys were supplied with the kit, the coolant reservior, pump, some AC lines and the upper radiator hose were all trying to live in the same location, and there was no way that any of the recommended intake assemblies would have worked, turned out a few months after that they started offering their own specific cold air intake just for that kit).
I guess i'm saying calling them and asking is probably a waste of time.

all the torque in the world. I'm assuming you're talking about a D1.

I have personally owned both setups, and I am willing to bet you cant find another ATI anywhere that makes this much torque under the curve.
