Default Finally Got Her on the Dyno.....

Had a local Dyno Day here in VA Beach...... Mustang Dyno
We had a little problem....... couldnt keep the tires from spinning.....
The Same 370ci setup with the S88 Turbo Kit built by Stenod Performance.
Thru a Rossler Power Glide and Strange 12 Bolt.
The pulls started around 2300rpm's and on most the pulls i was spinning by 46-4700 RPM's.

1st pull...

2nd Pull

We even added some weight over the rear tires...

I thought most would like to hear how she spools...

Spooling one more time.....

Well i guess im happy....
I really didnt care to start with..... i know what she can do in the 1/4 and thats all that really matters
I guess all i have left is to get some in car vids and video her at our track rental on the 27th...... Rain, rain go away..
Ill take a pic of the ball of rubber later

I wonder what the HP would of been???????????

Cool videos, I like the spool up ones a lot!

Spinning on the dyno is operator error (at that power level).

I have to agree with John... something doesn't seem right with they way they ran the car on the dyno... not sure what, just doesn't click. Could be because I'm used to a 6 speed and getting it into 4th before punching it. Where those runs in 1st or 2nd?

Congrats. Looks great - as always. You have to remember that this was on a Mustang dyno - most pulls on this board are done on a dynomax - about 8-12% difference. SO, at 620 * 10 = 680 - not bad at 4700rpms. Dyno's are great for tuning, but the track is the proving grounds.

Keep us posted on your track times. -- I'm really pissed that I have to read all these "new PB" and I'm setting on my *** doing nothing. They're calling for our 1st snow this week

We will see..... Im out of town Mon-Fri and then on sat the local F-Body guys have another Dyno rental on a Dynojet so we will see...... im thinking about putting it on there just to see.

i agree with David...... there just a tuning tool and i really dont care.... its the track that matters.

Rob,

The pulls were in 2nd 1:1
The spool vids were 1st gear.... it kinda shows there really isnt much lag with the 370 and a 88mm turbo.... Off the Trans-Brake its even..
