Best turbo for Corvette
I'm looking into a turbo winter project.
Which of these or other system is the best for a non forged (at this time) motor making 6-8 lbs of boost thru the stock motor(will lower cr thru a head swap 9.5-9.9 cr)- looking to get to only 500-525rwhp to have the motor last..
Info on
1. TTI Stage X Turbo Systems -http://turbotechnologyinc.com/corvette_turbocharger_systems.htm
2. Non-sponsor
any input is apriciated...

TTi all the way.
The reason why I say that is due to the overwhelming majority of the guys who run the kit are absolutely satisfied.
The PTK kit has a TON of power potential but you have to wrap half the ****** engine in heat wrap to keep it from melting everything in sight.
Not my cup of tea..

The APS kit looks simply amazing (And I kinda agree with you) But it hasnt even hit the road in production status yet.
I have been the test mule before, and I will NEVER do it again..

TTIx...battle tested (read: all bugs worked out). Powered more than a few C5's to 9's. Gets 25+mph, daily driver type reliability, oem quality (cast manifolds)and packaging. Couldn't ask for more.

The PTK isn't for everyone just as much as one kit isn't the best for everything. It makes for a great option if your a stroker or bigger cubes, but for stock cubes and those not willing to invest alot of time fiddling, the APS or TTi will do.
And yes there's underhood heat. That's what extractor hoods are for. Also, with the right preparation (and it doesn't always require wrap ) it'll be troublefree for the long haul.

2. ECS fuel system for 2004 FFS fuel system(good up till about 900rwhp) and the above plus 10psi.(stock bottom end not safe here). DTE transmission brace and hardend left output shaft recommended.
3. 650+. Most hit 700-800rwhp at 14-15psi. Ported heads, forged 346 bottom end, turbo cam, etc. Also oil cooler would help.
