Default Turbo cam
Is there a decent off the shelf cam someone would recommend? How much better would it be to go with a custom cam vs an off the shelf?

This is for an LS1 that will have a front mount 76gts

Im using a LPE GT2-3. The LS6 is also a good choice. Both can be had used for really cheap... or if youre a balla, get a custom grind. Its all about budget.

Yep, any variation of the 224/224-114 or 221/221-114 would be a good choice. Depending on your goals, you can consider something 224/230-114 or 230/236-114.
