A little help
I just got a catch can and a check valve that i need to install it this weekend. My problem is i know how to install the catch can, but where do i put the one-way check valve in the PCV line? I am having a problem with pressureizing the crank case. It has blown the dip stick out too many times and it's about time i fix it.

Sorry to get off the subject, but go to a GMC,CHEVY,PONTIAC,CADILLAC dealer and try this PCV VALVE and see if this helps your oil consumption. I saw this at ws6store.com and I have a 01 firehawk and I have only driven 500 miles with this pcv valve, so I can not say at this moment that it has helped.................but this maybe the best fix us LS1 engines have. I went to Buster Miles Chevrolet in Helena Alabama and purchased for $6.75.

As many of you know, the PCV system on the 98-02 LS1's isnt exactly the greatest system on the planet.....burning up to 1 quart every 3K miles. After many complaints, GM finally issed a service bulletin to address this issue on all of the GEN 3 engines. They have replaced the ball-type PCV valve with a new fixed orifice design that is used in the GM trucks. This design will help reduce oil-consumption on your LS1.
New GM part. Please allow 1-2 days to ship out.
