Maggie on Monza??
Hi,
I'm looking for some more hp for my Monza. I have a '98 Camaro LS1 that is stock down to the exhaust manifolds (with dual 2.5" pipes). I really can't do long tubes and I really don't want to do a cam. I already have a 255LPH pump and a good fuel system. What would the pro's and con's be of running a Maggie with the stock LS1 setup? Do they make a kit for the F-bodies or will I have to use a Vette or GTO kit?
Thanks,
Bill

By radiator you mean the heat exchanger for the blower, correct? I do have a lot of room as this used to be an A/C car and I took out the condenser. It should fit but do you know the measurements of the heat exchanger?

No, I was being a smartass as a good friend had a couple of monzas and I skinned my knuckes on the radiator more than twice while taking off the fan. I wouldn't imagine there would be much room for a pulley and blower drive on the front. Thanks for the picture, the swap looks great.

Bob,
Is that a Vortech? I could move the alt and put the battery in the back and yep it would fit. I'm not too sure about the extra belt though. I guess I'll have to mear=sure a bit.
Thanks,
Bill

The I/C Magnuson kit will easily fit your Monza, in fact I don't think it would need as much work as it takes to install it in an F-body.
Here are a few pics, feel free to let me know if I can answer any questions,

Hi Bill,
The kit includes the complete supercharger and intercooler setup, 60 lb Motron injectors, a Racetronix intake pump & harness kit, and a K&N FIPK air intake. I assume you would want to delete the fuel pump & air intake and use what you have. I Would also delete the F-body install kit, since you seem to have plenty of clearence in the pics.
PM me your email address and I will send you some pics and a price quote.
Thanks,
Ed
