I think you'll benefit from a couple more categories to make this meaningful... 3.42 to 4.11 is gonna capture a lot of FI M6 cars. FWIW, I have 3.50 in a 9".

I have heard good things from both 3.08 and 3.50's, i suppose it depends on tire choice as far as diameter. If i plan on running 140mph in a quarter wouldnt 3.50's be more optimum due to getting close to redline at the end of quarter?
Or would u gain that much more time from loading the turbo more?

Sounds to me just for rpm a 3.50ish gear is optimal then.
Is it good for an M6 and spooling issues with a turbo?
Is there an advantage from a 3.08 compared to 3.50?
I have just heard gears like 4.11s are bad and dont spool turbos efficiently.

4.11s would be alright... But you'll be spinning your engine to a high RPM.. IN the 8xxx on a 28" tire, I believe. You would get some more topend power. If your engine is making peak hp at 6300 rpms then 4.11s would not be a good gear Spooling may become an issue with the short gears.. Not too bad with a twin turbo setup... I'd say.. I believe some of the top dog BIG single turbos are running 3.73s..
