Also they are NOT VSR balanced, and last I check they are not even manually balanced, and the shaft is a .250 . Sticking a 70mm wheel with a p-trim turbine on a T3/T4 shaft is not a good idea. Partly the reason why we have about 15-20 of them on the shelf that are broke, leaking, or locked up, and no longer deal with MP. You get what you pay for when it comes to turbos and wastegates. If you do buy one, have it checked by a pro to see if you got what you paid for. Also big shaft only means the stub diameter will be move up to either a .270 or .312. They still need to address the other shortcomings.

It must be luck, I havent really heard anyone(who uses one) say anything bad about them...and if they made a small improvement over the old ones that MOST people are doing fine with(i know **** happens), but he does offer a 1 year warantee and he replaces the turbo, so Im ok with that too. =)

No we do not carry them anymore, nor service them. We had WAY to many returned units, and warranty taking 3-6 months. Just to give you an indication of what I mean.....We keep a failure rate chart. The amount is failures this year per every 100 units or rate that was last recorded with MP and XS.

Garrett - 4.4
T-netics - 4.2
BWA - 2.2
MP (This was when we were selling them) - 12.8
XSPower (we bought a batch to try) - 14.9

As you can see, you get what you pay for from the top 3.

Ive employed alot of MPT70s, I have not had a failure yet. I would say somewhere between 10-15 kits with them. I run two on my 346 LS1 and have not had problems there either at 1000 rwhp. Maybe I just got lucky...

The TC units are going to be the best bang for the buck by far.

Im not trying to start ****, but this is the message I recieved back from MT when I told him I was told FI that the MPs are junk and they arent balanced.

"BTW Forced Induction, Jose Zayas, owes master Power over $4000.00 in deliquent acct. I guess you can tell what kind of business person he is."

word for word...so I guess theres always two sides to the story??
