Default Fan settings

What are you FI fan settings?

Mine are:
First stage ON = 219
First stag e OFF = 212
Second stage ON = 227
Second Stage OFF = 220

Maybe too high, but this is a daily drive and I don't want to run too cold.

Should I install a fan switch for the "crazy moments" or set lower ON/OFF settings?

You want it lower. FI is more detonation prone and lower coolant temps will help prevent detonation. I wouldn't worry about running "too cool", most of us have enough trouble keeping them from running too hot!

Is that a problem to run the fans constantly?

The original Vortech settings are:
First stage ON = 193
First stag e OFF = 187
Second stage ON = 200
Second Stage OFF = 193

this for the stock 'stat. A little strange, isn't it?

Soo... how have you set them?

I have my pushers set to come on at 175, but I have a 3rd fan that on a switch for the "just in case". I was still running too hot with my 2 pushers in hotter weather.
