Default Procharger P-1SC or D-1SC

Just wondering if the D-1SC upgrade stuff is necessary, or can I just get the complete P-1SC kit and be done with it. Any recommendations?

I think everyone who has bought the P series wishes they would of went to the D series. As you'll find out, you'll never make enough power and there is always someone else out there faster than you. Just like your pulley. Sure 6lbs was a nice gain, but 14lbs is better. You'll never be satisfied, so spend the extra $$$. Its not that much more.

Get the D1SC from the start and use a bigger pulley to control boost.

If you ever want to sell your kit a D1 will more than make up for the 200 extra it cost.

I'd go with the D-1SC as well. Give me a call at 260 244-4808 for a great price. Bob

Depends on what the goals are, for example person with a higher compression stock motor, may only need a P1SC kit to obtain 500rwhp+ (C6 or LS2 GTO), carb legal for emission state peeps. No modifications needed for hood (Ybody) unlike Magnacharger.

More often then not, D1SC is the way to go for 500rwhp+.

Procharger 4.5" intercooler (upgrade) should used either way.

D1SC upgrade now is $200 and D1SC upgrade after purchase of P1SC is much more plus down time. Just a thought.
